Question by Lois Griffin: What are the key differences between Obamacare and Medicaid?
As most of us know,
Medicaid does NOT cover 100% of those who can’t afford health insurance.

If Obamacare is passed, will it cover EVERY person who can’t afford health insurance?
or will it be similar to medicaid, where it only covers a fraction of the uninsured?

What I don’t understand is:
If you are too poor to afford health insurance…………..
but you don’t qualify for subsidies to cover the total cost of health insurance……..
and it’s MANDATORY to buy health insurance………………..
What does that mean? Do you go to prison because you can’t afford health insurance?

It means that if you can not afford it you will either get a sliding pay cost or no cost at all. As a Democrat I do support a Public option but Not mandatory Health Ins .

at this point the biggest and most important difference is the fact that it will be mandatory…if you don’t buy it you are fined, if you cant pay the fine you go to jail…
there are many important differences but jail time if you don’t buy it, what is our country coming to…
    always nosnod
